SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue

Our mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless." We save the toughest dogs to place; those with serious medical conditions, paralyzed dogs, deaf and blind dogs, severely emaciated dogs, dogs with neurological deficits & disease, dogs with injuries and orthopedic issues … the animals that nobody else wants; the dogs that would otherwise be euthanized.

Meet Tommy

*Name: Tommy*Age: 11 months*Current Weight: 55 lbs*Adoption fee: $550Introducing Tommy! This 11 month old, 45lbs and growing, beautiful and loving pup is in search of his forever home. This sweet boy may have had a rough start, but he doesn't let his past hold him back. As a baby, Tommy was cruelly abandoned in a crate on the side of the road down in rural South Carolina. Despite it all, his spirit remains unbroken—he’s super friendly, playful, and full of enthusiasm. Tommy is an amazing and active dog who is down for whatever adventure the day brings, ready to take on the world with you by his side! This boy is a great companion, happy to keep you company whether it's for outdoor adventures, doing everyday things around the house or even as you work from home. And at the end of the day, he is more than happy to curl up on the couch next to you for some snuggles. Tommy does well playing with other dogs who suit his romping and tumble play-style, but he's also quite content being an only dog in a house who happily entertains himself. Whether he’s romping around the yard, chasing after a squeaky toy, chewing on a dog bone, or curling up for snuggles after playtime, Tommy’s tail never stops wagging. Tommy is a smart boy and learns quickly. He is crate trained (a space he actually likes), walks great on leash, and has mastered several basic commands. He is excelling in his current foster home thanks to his awesome foster mom who is working with him every day, helping him become the best boy he is meant to be. Tommy would do best in a home ready and willing to provide him with exercise and continued training. In exchange, Tommy promises to give you his unwavering love, loyalty, and companionship, along with daily bouts of laughter and fun.To apply to adopt Tommy, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs
