Meet Lito

Lito was recently relinquished and needs to be with another sighthound. He will also required a fenced yard.  He is in a foster home with other sighthounds and doing very well, settling in to the routine.  If you are interested in obtaining more information about Lito, call Linda at 732 356 4370.  More information to come from the foster mom._________________________________________________________Original PostingLito is a stunning Galgo who we recently welcomed from Spain.  The rescue folks at Galgos DelSol (GDS) said of Lito, "he is a wonderful boy who is as sweet as he is handsome!!"  We totally agree. Lito is friendly and outgoing but not pushy. He is calm, quiet and anxious to please.  He walks nicely on leash.     Lito will be 5 years old in April. He is cat workable in that he was interested in the cat but could be directed away from the cat.  We require a 6-foot fence or no fence and walking on leash of the Galgo because some galgos are known to be able to jump over a 4-foot fence.  In addition, it is a requirement of GDS, and one that we indorse, that the dogs wear a tracking collar should there be an unfortunate incident of the Galgo getting loose.
