Burlington County Animal Alliance

Burlington County Animal Alliance is a private, independent, 501(3)(c) nonprofit animal advocacy group, that was founded in 1999 by Lorraine Schrieber and Barb Giano who have a love for animals. To date, we have around 60 members of BCAA. We focus primarily on rescue and adoption of shelter dogs and cats in high kill shelters and surrounding areas in New Jersey. Our main focus is to make the public aware of the numbers of homeless dogs and cats there are in shelters and to promote adoption of these animals. We advocate spaying and neutering of all companion animals to counteract the overpopulation of dogs and cats and to end the tragedy of euthanizing healthy, unwanted companion pets.

Meet Buddy – A Loving, Loyal Companion Looking for His Forever HomeBuddy is a sweet, well-behaved 2-year-old pup weighing about 50 lbs. His current family is heartbroken to let him go due to health concerns with their child, but they’re determined to find him a loving home where he’ll be cherished just as much.Buddy is truly a gem: Great with kids – He’s been wonderful with the young girl in the home. Calm and well-trained – Excellent on a leash, well-mannered in the car, and trained to stay in the yard using an e-collar (he responds to the beep). Friendly and affectionate – He loves people and gets along with everyone he meets. Low-maintenance – He’s not aggressive, not food-aggressive, and only barks when he wants to go outside. Buddy would thrive in a home with a yard and a family who can give him the love and attention he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal, easygoing dog who's already past the puppy phase but still young and playful, Buddy might be your perfect match.
