Meet KIMBA

Kimba!!!  This sweet girl is such a good Lakeland Terrier mix girl and was part of a very bad hoarding case in a small community of Middle Tennessee.  She was a lucky girl to escape the conditions of overcrowding and neglect in her home and still have a great attitude toward people.  Her sweetness is so evident when you meet her and it is amazing that she is not withdrawn and angry. Her having lived with dogs of all ages and sizes is a plus now when offering her to a family who has dogs. She has in the care of Thurman's Place, Boarding & Balanced Training and has gone through decompression to become more ready for a new life and adoption! Kimba is 3 years old and approx. 40lbs. Thanks to the staff at Thurman's Place she has come a long way from being a reserved, shy girl to one that has blossomed into a well-mannered social dog who loves nature walks with her people! She is great with kids, too!  Kimba does want to chase small animals so no cats. Crate trained, fully vetted, microchipped and spayed, this girl is pretty much housebroken also. If you are interested in adopting Kimba, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected] PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
