Husky House is committed to the rescue, shelter, care and adoption of stray, abandoned and unwanted animals in the Tri-State area. We are also dedicated to futhering the public's education concerning the issues of proper pet care and the importance of spaying and neutering all dogs and cats alike.Husky House is a non-profit, tax exempt organization (501c3) that was founded by Lorraine Healy.Husky House is dedicated to helping abandoned Siberian Huskies as well as all breeds of dogs, including mixes, have a second chance in life and a place to call home which they so richly deserve.

Meet Mateo

Meet Mateo! Mateo, his mom and 3 siblings were saved from a cruelty case and were brought to a county shelter, where they found themselves on the euthanasia list. The rescue was a last-minute coordinated joint effort by HEART Rescue in Maryland and Wolf Spirit Sled Dog Rescue in Virginia. Alma and his siblings are a little nervous and still settling in. We will update their bios once we get to know them better. Prior husky experience needed for adoption of any husky under 1 year of age, including Mateo. Adoption Process
application interview, ref check, vet check, homevisit husky pups will require previous husky exp fees are 200-400 all pets are spayed/neutered and microchipped.. including puppies. all chips remain registered to HH for the dogs safety
