Meet MELANIE

 MELANIE is a gorgeous redbone coonhound. She is 2 year old and 45 lbs. She is a great dog that gets along with kids and other dogs too. Please fill out an application to meet her at www.animalsanctuarysociety.org  Update: Melanie lands one of the best homes and pet parents who can give her the exercise, love and attention she needs! (pic 3-4)   If you all remember she was adopted out by us, and sadly her Petdad became seriously ill and couldn’t care for her. The previous petdad’s brother and girlfriend tried taking care of her for quite a while, but it was difficult with their work schedule and traveling a distance for work. Melanie was extremely sad and stressed leaving her previous pet parent. But the good news is, she now lives on an 100-acre farm in Vermont. Petdad farms with his dad and brother, and Petdad also owns his own business doing carpentry work. She can go to work with Petdad, and she loves riding in the pick-up truck. She is now very attached to her new petdad following him everywhere.
