Burlington County Animal Alliance

Burlington County Animal Alliance is a private, independent, 501(3)(c) nonprofit animal advocacy group, that was founded in 1999 by Lorraine Schrieber and Barb Giano who have a love for animals. To date, we have around 60 members of BCAA. We focus primarily on rescue and adoption of shelter dogs and cats in high kill shelters and surrounding areas in New Jersey. Our main focus is to make the public aware of the numbers of homeless dogs and cats there are in shelters and to promote adoption of these animals. We advocate spaying and neutering of all companion animals to counteract the overpopulation of dogs and cats and to end the tragedy of euthanizing healthy, unwanted companion pets.

Meet Sasha! Sasha is a 1–2-year-old, 40-lb sweetheart who’s full of life and overflowing with love to give her forever family. Once a devoted mama at the shelter, her puppies have all found homes—and now it’s finally her turn.This affectionate girl adores other dogs and has happily joined her foster pack, enjoying playful roughhousing and plenty of snuggles. She’s crate trained, mostly house-broken, and her leash skills are improving every day (much less pulling now!).Sasha loves being petted, handing out kisses, and—watch out—she has a silly soft spot for toilet paper. She’s still a baby at heart and ready to share her joy and cuddles with a family of her own.If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’s as sweet as she is spirited, Sasha is your girl!
