Meet Sugar

Shy but curious, gentle and sweet, loving and dog friendly...add them together and you have our 1-year-old Chihuahua mix named Sugar. (A really good name for her!) She weighs only 15 pounds and should be treated gently by young children who don't always know their own strength. Sugar was found wandering around a Mexican restaurant in the area, do we brought her into rescue with us. She's a terrific little girl. We love her! You will, too! (posted 9/17/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **

Adoption Process
Potential adopters file application, including references; if approved, referred to foster mom/dad with any questions and in order to determine suitability of adopter. Adopters sign contract and pay adoption fee and upon delivery, pay transport fee. Adopters are provided with medical records and required to spay/neuter dog at appropriate age. requirements: adopters must be over 21; spay/neuter dog at 6 months
