The Ocean County Animal Facilities provide temporary housing for dogs and cats and maintain a 24-hour receiving service for stray animals that are brought in by Municipal Animal Control Officers. Features of the shelters include indoor/outdoor dog runs, cat rooms, isolation areas and surgical facilities. Cats and dogs up for adoption are all spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, and receive a general health exam by the veterinarian.

Good in Home With
Bella, Shiba Inu mix, Black and Brown, Female spayed, 10 years old Bella is a sweet and gentle girl. She can be a little anxious at first, but she settles nicely with some time. She is very playful, and especially loves the tennis ball! Bella would do best in a home with children over the age of 12 years old, and with a family that can give her the time she needs to adjust to her new home. She needs a home without other small animals. **This dog is at the Ocean County Animal Facility North located at 615 Fremont Ave, Jackson NJ (off of Hope Chapel Rd). All dogs are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and have age appropriate shots.** To adopt our dogs you must come to the facility with your entire family, including dogs, to meet with our staff and the dog you are interested in. We are open to the public seven days a week between the hours of 1pm and 4pm. Please call our facility at 732-657-8086 for more information about any of our pets!
