Meet LOVING LUPIN - GENTLE
Brother Lupin is a purebred Norwegian Elkhound sweetheart that has been living with on a breeder farm and used as a breeding male. This beautiful boy is being released to our rescue to help him discover the life he so very much deserves with a family. He has never experienced the joys of being someone’s special boy and loved unconditionally. He has been just a number. But despite this lost “boy” and number, he has never been anywhere outside of a small farm in a rural part of Middle Tennessee. He is shy and rightfully so and expected. He is a little awkward on what is expected of him and what he can expect from the new people he meets. He is shy but he gets along with the other dogs and has pretty much lived his life in the outdoor back kennel on the acreage of the breeder’s farm. We just pray that he can be invited in to learn how special human love can be and for him to share his own sweet spirit right back with the humans. We know he will need an adjustment period and some training which will include house training but since he is a 4.5 year old boy, he will learn quickly. All the others have learned with a great deal of speed. This boy is 60 pounds and Brother Lupin is a gorgeous, solid dog. We cannot emphasize how very sweet he truly is and how much he adores being petted and told he is special. He seems to be a really calm boy and we know he could open up that clam shell and escape to a life filled with bright hope and fun. In these pictures he is scared because all the new noises were foreign to him. He just needs to get out and experience a brand new world. Norwegian Elkhounds are known to be intelligent, loyal, and also a sensitive dog. Lupin is looking for that family and home that he can adopt. With a little time and patience he is going to be the sweetest addition. He is neutered and ready to go! Are you ready to go bring home a Norwegian Elkhound?
