This lower-energy girl enjoys a good walk or round of fetch, but her highest priority is to snuggle with her humans. Winter would thrive in almost any home.Winter has lived with other dogs and does well with them, happily sharing toys, treats, and humans.  She does like her personal space, though, and can be nervous around large dogs. She does well with dog savvy children. Winter loves to meet new people!  You would think she is still a puppy when approaching them with a wagging tail and running in circles to say hello! This gal will happily play with toys by herself, and she’ll be even happier if someone invites her to sit on their lap. This clever girl is highly food motivated and already knows “sit”.  She would likely pick up other commands quickly, especially if there’s a treat involved. She is fully house trained and is mostly crate trained. With a few treats tossed in, she will go in willingly.  She may protest a bit when she sees her human, but will then settle in.  She is still working on her leash manners as she gets excited to chase a squirrel or bird if one comes into sight, but with consistency and structure, she is improving. If you’re looking for a young at heart and perfect little lap lady, then look no further than sweet Winter! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
