Greater Derry Humane Society, Inc.

We are an all foster/all volunteer organization. If we have an open foster home that can handle the particular animal-we take it in. We vet our animals fully, including specialist consultations, etc. if needed. Our community needs a rescue that can take in animals and put them in loving foster homes.

Meet Fig

Hey there! I'm a spunky 2-year-old pup with boundless energy and a passion for playtime. Toys are my absolute favorite – I can't resist a good game of fetch or tug-of-war. I take my job of guarding the home seriously, so I might bark at noises and strangers, but deep down, I'm just making sure everything is in check. I'm still figuring out this whole housebreaking thing, but I promise I'm a quick learner when it comes to basic commands. Cuddling is one of my specialties, and I love snuggling up with my favorite humans. If you have another playful dog, count me in for some tag-team fun! A fenced yard would be awesome for my playdates, though I'm adaptable and can make do without one. Let's create paw-some memories together!
