Meet SOFIA

Sofia is a gentle older lady who’s had a rough start in life but is ready for comfort and love in her golden years. She still has plenty of pep in her step and loves to go for a stroll around the block to show off her poodle strut! She prefers to be the only dog but has a history of living with cats. While she hasn’t lived with kids, children who can respect her space could be a good fit. Sofia was treated for some medical challenges while in the shelter, and is looking for a caring, committed adopter to support her as she ages. If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal companion, Sofia could be the one!Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog that’s a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources.
