Meet SUGAR

Sugar is as sweet as her name and is excited to find a family of her own! She is a super snuggly girl who loves to meet new people and flop over for some nice belly rubs! Sugar came to us with an old leg injury that has caused arthritis in her knee and will need pain management for the rest of her life, so a good relationship with a vet will be important to help keep her comfortable. She is a very smart lady who is still working on her puppy manners, but we think with plenty of positive reinforcement she'll be a well trained gal in no time! Sugar seems to enjoy meeting other dogs and could live with a dog friend with good management. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog that’s a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources.
