Meet Mort Moreland

*MEET ME AT OUR 6/7 EVENT IN NEEDHAM, MA!*Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy childrenCrate trained: Mostly House Trained: YesMort is a lovable, easygoing pup who’s quick to win hearts wherever he goes. This medium-energy boy enjoys a good balance of adventure and downtime. He loves squeaky toys, chew bones, and a nice stroll through the grass. Mort would thrive in a home that enjoys daily walks and provides the structure to help him keep blossoming into his best self.Mort gets along well with other dogs and has been fostered with his sister and three resident pups. He’s gentle and submissive during interactions and takes cues well. Mort has also lived alongside a cat and is respectfully curious, mostly choosing to ignore his feline roommate. He would likely do well in a home with or without other pets and would enjoy the company of dog-savvy kids who give him space to settle in.This smart cookie already knows “sit,” “lay down,” and “place,” and is eager to learn more—especially if treats are involved. Mort is walked twice a day and walks beautifully on leash, loving to sniff and explore the world around him. He is crated for a few hours during the day and overnight, he may whine for a few minutes before settling. He’s house-trained and taken out on a consistent schedule, which helps him continue to succeed.Mort is an affectionate, happy pup who’s ready to join a family that will give him plenty of love, structure, and outdoor time. He’s got the whole package—could he be your missing piece? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line.
