We vet our animals fully, including specialist consultations, etc. if needed. Our community needs a rescue that can take in animals and put them in loving foster homes.

Meet Bentley

Bentley is a 10 yearold Shih tzu whose world was turned upside down when his owner died recently.  He is very sweet.  He loves people and has lived with dogs of all sizes.  He is used to having his owner around so an ideal home for him would be with someone who is home a lot.  He would be a great fit for a retiree.

Adoption Process
Fees are: Puppies 0 - 6 months $495 Puppies 6 - 12 months $450 Adult dogs $395 Senior dogs 8 years and over $195 Adult cats $150 Kittens $195 or $250 for a pair Senior cats 8 years and over $95 Our adoption application is found and submitted through our website derryhumanesociety.com Once an application is submitted, it will be sent to an adoption counselor who will reach out to you if you may be a good match.
