For the Love of Dog rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes rottweilers in the northeastern US. Established in 2004, we have rehomed more than 1200 dogs. For the Love of Dog - Rottweiler Rescue of New Hampshire is a New Hampshire corporation and a registered charity in New Hampshire operating under the federal tax exempt status of 501c3. The organization is also a licensed animal shelter in the state of New Hampshire, a good-standing member of the Mayor's Alliance of New York City and the Animal Rescue Network of New England.

Meet Petunia

Meet Petunia! Petunia is a petite Rottweiler (just 52 lbs!) with a big heart and an even bigger desire to love her people. At around 18–24 months old, she’s still full of playful puppy energy and thrives on attention. This sweet girl is very intelligent and eager to please, making her a joy to train and bond with. Petunia is crate trained and does wonderfully in a structured routine. She loves playtime and snuggles in equal measure, and she’ll happily follow you around just to be near you. Petunia will do best in a home without small animals, but she’s more than ready to pour all of her love and loyalty into her new family. If you’re ready for a loyal, loving companion who will keep you smiling with her affectionate nature, Petunia is waiting to meet you!
