At Grandma’s Barn Rescue & Sanctuary, we are a small but passionate team dedicated to giving forgotten, abandoned, and at-risk animals a second chance. From pregnant donkeys saved off feedlots to senior dogs discarded after a lifetime of loyalty, we believe every life matters — no matter the age, condition, or history.We rescue, rehabilitate, and provide lifelong sanctuary to those who need it most, and we work tirelessly to find loving forever homes for those ready to begin a new chapter. Many of our animals come from heartbreaking situations — high-kill shelters, neglect, or medical emergencies — and we pour our hearts into their recovery.Why do we do it?Because they deserve more.Because they’ve never had a voice — and now they do.Because love, safety, and dignity shouldn't be a privilege, but a promise.This is our mission. Adoption Process
Apply – Complete this application to help us learn about your home and experience. Review – We’ll contact you within a few days to go over your answers. References – We may check with your vet and listed personal references. Meet & Greet – If it’s a good fit, we’ll arrange a time to meet the animal. Home Check – A virtual or in-person home check may be required. Approval & Contract – Finalize the adoption with a short contract and donation. Adoption Fees are 250-450 depending on costs of each animals needs. Spay/neuter/medical/ transport etc Welcome Home! – Get ready to love and be loved!
