Backyard Explorer: While this mellow man may not be bagging peaks, he still loves to stretch his legs and play in the great outdoors. A home where he can lope, sniff, and explore to his heart's content is at the top of his wishlist. Whether it's chasing after toys, playing a game of fetch, or simply lounging in the sunshine, Murphy is always up for some backyard fun. Personality: Murphy is a sweet and affectionate soul who adores his human companions. He loves nothing more than spending quality time with his people, whether it's cuddling up for some Netflix or going for a walk. He has several canine friends here at the ranch and enjoys playgroup. Murphy is friendly and outgoing and loves to meet new people. Training and Intelligence: Murphy is a smart and trainable pup who is eager to please. He already knows basic commands like sit/stand/stay/down, and enjoys learning new tricks and skills. With his intelligence and willingness to learn, Murphy is sure to impress you with his quick wit and adaptability. Ideal Home: Murphy is seeking a loving person who can provide him with plenty of rubs, attention, and some chew toys. He has begun house training but will need a patient owner willing to help him understand how being an indoor dog works. In his previous life, Murphy was never inside a home and has quickly discovered that a soft blanket and back scratches are what he was missing! Murphy would do best in an environment where he receives plenty of praise, pets, and nap time with his devoted humans. Health and Care: Murphy is up-to-date on vaccinations and neutered. In his youth, Murphy was hit by a car and his broken femur was not repaired. Our vet has assured us that he has excellent function and this places no limitations on his activity or concerns for his longevity. Adoption Process
Find an animal that you like? Please don't hesitate to reach out. Our process begins with an adoption application to help us learn your needs and capabilities and moves forward with a meet and greet. Home visits, landlord calls, etc may be performed at our discretion. All dogs are transferred with an adoption contract and a one hour, complimentary session with a professional already familiar with your new friend. Adoption fees are pay what you can donations, tax deductible, and 100% of the proceeds are used for care of Dog House Residents.
