Meet Cain

Cain is an American pit bull terrier mix and a former shelter dog that has been in boarding for several months. He is neutered and weighs 55 pounds. This 6-year-old, goofy boy needs some training to be the best dog he can be, but our organization is willing to pay for his training if we can find the right foster or adoptive home.   Cain loves to cuddle up in his blankets and wouldn’t mind relaxing to a movie with you. He is great at going outside because he loves to sunbathe. Cain also likes to chase toys, especially when it’s his idea. Do you have a fenced yard where he could enjoy time outdoors and play fetch? He also walks fairly well on leash.   Cain has lived with other dogs, but doesn’t always get along the greatest, so we'd prefer to find a home where he could be the only dog. He loves people, but we also think he would live his best life in a home with adults and perhaps older children.   Suggested adoption donation: $300.00 Foster/adoption forms available at: nebraskanokill.org

Adoption Process
Dogs under 7 years $250.00 Senior dogs: $150.00 All dogs are spayed/neutered; up to date on shots and microchipped. Also heart worm tested.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
