Meet Tango

Hope you're ready to dance, because it's me, Tango! If you're looking for a new dance partner to add to your pack, then you have come to the right place! I'm a very sweet boy who loves some good attention and play time. I'm also a great dance partner, because I redirect very easily and can be taught to do so many things. You want me to move to the right (AKA stop pulling on my leash), I can do that! You want me to move to step back (AKA not jump up on you when you get home), I can back off! You want me to move to the left (AKA not counter-surf for food you left up there), well I can do that, too! I'm also very good at following other dog's leads. My foster siblings don't always want to play with me, and when they let me know, I back off! I've done so well with house-training and going into my crate.   Sometimes I let you know I'm sad that I'm going to the crate, because I know that means you're leaving, but I get over it very quickly. The only thing we understand about me that could be construed as a misstep in the dancing world, is if my partner's a cat. We've found that I'd much rather hunt them than dance with them, so it's best I go to a home without those kind of dance partners. I'm really such a sweet boy and am very excited to find my forever home. Adoption Process
Our Adoption Process After you submit your adoption application, via our website, http://TaysiaBlue.com, a Taysia Blue volunteer will contact you within 2-3 days. We are most interested in which type dog will be a good fit for you and your family and the other pets in your home. We will also contact you by phone to learn more about the dog you're looking for and to review the current available dogs in our rescue. We will schedule an appointment for you to meet the dog(s). If a match is made, we can complete the adoption process at that time. If we don't find the perfect match, we'll keep trying till we do! We hope that your home is the very last stop on the dog's journey and we do all we can to help you and your dog make the transition easier, including providing you with an information packet loaded with tips and resources. Our quality standard vet care is as follows: • Spay/Neuter - All dogs will be spayed or neutered prior to being adopted. • Heartworm Test - If the heartworm test is negative, the dog is placed on regular heartworm preventative. If the heartworm test is positive, the dog is treated to eradicate the heartworms and then placed on regular heartworm preventative. • Rabies vaccination • DHP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo) vaccination • Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccination • Flea and tick preventative • Microchip Our adoption donation requirements are as follows: • Puppies 6 months of age or younger require a donation of $350. • Dogs over 6 months and under 8 years old require a donation of $300. • Dogs 8 years and older require a donation of $250.
