Meet Rosa

As Rosa approaches her ninth birthday, she is living in foster care and seeking a furever home. Sadly, her previous owner passed away without a plan for her dogs. Rosa is house trained and kennel trained. She also knows a few commands, including: sit, stay and lay down. Rosa seems okay with children, but we’d probably recommend her for a home with older kids. She is playful and enjoys her squeaky toys, but overall has a lower energy level. Her foster mom describes her as loyal, sweet and protective. Rosa respects boundaries, like the kitchen, and will only enter when given permission. Likes: People she knows and snuggling on furniture Dislikes: Ceramic tile floors and vacuum cleaners She’s had some training in the past and we’re willing to pay for additional sessions, especially if we can find an adopter who lives in or near Lincoln. Rosa barks and pulls on leash when she sees other dogs, so a home without other pets might be best. We’re not sure how she would react to a cat. Rosa is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm tested. She weighs 49 lbs., and is listed as a blue heeler mix, born in March 2015.

Adoption Process
Dogs under 7 years $250.00 Senior dogs: $150.00 All dogs are spayed/neutered; up to date on shots and microchipped. Also heart worm tested.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
