Meet Lucky Duck
Approx. DOB: 5/28/23 Approx Wht: 22 Lbs Adoption Fee: $275 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Lucky Duck is housebroken and crate trained. He loves getting his treat after going potty. Lucky Duck is treat and food motivated. This will really help with training. Lucky Duck is full grown at 22pds. We think he is a mini aussie mix between 1 and 2 years old. He came to us when his family no longer wanted him. Lucky Duck definitely has the herding breed in him because if he isn't directing the other dogs around the house he is trying to do it with the humans. Duck really needs someone experienced with a herding breed to redirect some of this trait. Lucky Duck loves all people. He might be too much for really young children because of the herding trait of nipping at the heels or back of legs. He can be redirected but it will take a family working with him and hopefully taking him to a obedience class. Lucky Duck really loves to be snuggled and pampered. He loves belly rubs and sitting next to you getting all the love you want to share. Lucky Duck really loves playing with other dogs but he likes to be in charge but sometimes another new foster will call his bluff and they become best friends. It would be best if he meets any other dogs in the family. I think he didn't get a lot of attention in his last home so he wants all that he can get. I can't even say it's a size of dog he likes the best because he has been friends with a 100pd Golden male, 11pd chihuahua and all sizes in between. Lucky Duck loves squeaky toys! I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
