Advocates 4 Animals Pet Food Pantry

Our organization is a pet food pantry who assists those in the community feed their pets and prevent them from being dumped at a shelter or having to get rid of them due to financial hardships. In addition, we take in pregnant moms and babies who have been dumped and care for them from birth through adoption. I do the things I do, to give back to those in the community needing assistance. The fostering I do because I love watching the moms and puppies grow up healthy and happy.

Meet Buddy

Hi, my name is Buddy and I am 9-weeks old.  I am said to be a Coonhound and Frenchie mix.  I came from a ruff situation at 6-weeks old, but this foster life is a dream....the food bowl is always full, my sleeping / living arrangements are clean and my foster family is so nice to me and loves to cuddle me and give me kisses.   My foster family believes I am going to be more the size of a coonhound than a Frenchie.   I am a playful puppy, I love to run, wrestle, chase and play when I am outside with my sibling.   I do also enjoy sunbathing, but not for long or you will see my tongue out because it’s hot.    I am looking for a family that will show me the ropes about how to be a good puppy, knows that as a puppy and young adult I am going to make things challenging some days and some days I will be a total dream.   Understands that everyday is a learning experience and I will thrive on structure, some consistency and most of all LOVE. If you are ready to add a fun loving guy like me in your life, let’s take the next step!    Buddy's adoption fee is $325.00 which includes 3 rounds of shots, neuter, microchip and 1 month of heartworm preventative. If you are interested, please complete the Adoption Application on our website at a4apetpantry.org Disclaimer: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of our dogs, we are only guessing at breed mix.

Adoption Process
Applications are submitted online, vet and personal reference checks. Meet and greet are scheduled with the potential adopter, if all goes as planned a home visit is performed and a trail adoption period of seven days is provided for both dog and family to ensure its a match. The adoption fees are $300 for a puppy that includes all three rounds of puppy shots, spay/neuter, mirchochip, rabies and three months of heartworm preventative. For adults over 2-years the adoption fee is $250 and includes all shots, rabies, microchip, spay/neuter and 3-months heartworm preventative.
