Meet Tarot

We are a matched based adoption agency, if you see a dog in our program in which you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online application at kcpaws.org and one of our adoptions counselors will be in touch once your application has been screened. Please note that we do require dogs to meet all members of the family including existing pets in the home before finalizing during your in home adoption. Meet Tarot! A 5-7 year old long haired chihuahua looking for her forever home! Tarot was rescued from a horrific hoarding house/ neglect situation. Her and many other dogs were left abandoned in a small trailer home with no food or water and were living in mountains of trash. They nearly starved to death, luckily we were called to the scene and got them out in time. Tarot is now a healthy weight and ready for the next chapter of her life. Tarot gets along well with other dogs in daycare playgroups, however she LOVES human cuddles and when she's getting attention she doesn't really like to share her human with other dogs. So she would prefer to be an only dog to keep all the snuggles to herself. She is doing great on kennel training.
