Meet ETHEL

Meet Ethel! PAC has been welcoming lots of senior dogs lately, and this sweet girl is ready to steal your heart. Ethel is an 8-year-old Labrador mix who was found as a stray. She’s a calm, gentle soul—but life at the shelter can be stressful for her. You might notice some lip licking and pacing when she first meets new people, and her tail may be slightly tucked at first. Don’t worry—she warms up quickly and her tail starts wagging once she feels safe! She’s a low-to-moderate energy girl who loves daily walks, maybe even a gentle hike, and human attention more than toys. All her assessments—from toys to food to sociability—show she’s a well-behaved sweetheart. Ethel’s ideal home: Great with kids 8+ (younger kids may work if calm & respectful) Best with calmer dogs Perfect companion for someone who wants a loving, low-maintenance friendEthel is looking for a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and appreciated for her gentle, sweet nature. Could you be the one to give her the cozy retirement she deserves? Just look at that face—she’s ready to meet you!
