Meet Millie Mae

Hey there, I'm Millie Mae, a young, curious, and brave gal with enough energy to power a small city. I'm also pretty smart - not to brag or anything. I'm said to be a Parson Russell Terrier mix, but I'm huge for that breed - as in 50 lbs. I do look the part and I have the energy, but maybe I'm mixed with a lab (check out my ears) or an Airedale (check out my beard). Who knows? But, I am a sweet girl and I need a loving home. I've been bounced around and I'm ready to settle down with my forever family. Is that you?If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to request an appointment to meet me. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. No need to call to find out about me, you can ask questions on the application or email questions to [email protected] County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas twice a month. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veteinarian ($35). Going that last mile home for our sweet pets!
