Meet Daeva

Hi there, I'm Daeva! I'm just a little 4 month old Lab/Moutain Cur mix pup with a big heart. You might think it's lonely being the last of my litter, but I see it as being the best of my litter!I love to play and make new friends. My big ears hear everything, so whisper a secret and I'll keep it safe. I'm a bit of a goofball, but that's part of my charm. I can make any day brighter with my playful antics and friendly nature. I've got so much love to give and I'm waiting for someone special to share it with. Adopting me means endless laughter, unconditional love, and a loyal companion for life. Let's create beautiful memories together! If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to request an appointment to meet me. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come.Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas at least monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped.
