The Animal Rescue Alliance

A non-profit 501C3, all volunteer group dedicated to helping homeless pets in the Greater Kansas City area. Our organization is the result of an alliance between several rescuers in the Kansas City region who share the same goal of ending animal suffering and homelessness. In addition to rescuing pets from difficult situations, we offer courtesy listings in Pet Finder, facilitate low-cost spays and neuterings, work on transfers and transports with existing rescue groups, help individuals and organizations promote, screen and educate potential adopters, fund raise to help pets with special needs, offer guidance and information about animal rescue, organize events, etc.

Meet Brin

Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process.  Brin is a sweet, funny and cautious boy with a perfect amount of bold for new experiences like scary stairs. He likes to watch his bigger brother, Bodi, do things first before he takes on the challenge. Brin gives the most loving, soft cuddles and kisses. His underbite is endearing to his character. He is a little too food motivated for puppy training now and prefers to roam the kitchen while waiting for the slow human to fill his bowl. Brin is energetic, loves to be held, get belly rubs, give kisses, romp around the yard and play with the human when she finds time to sit on the floor. Brin loves human attention and can also entertain himself with toys. He is quiet at bedtime, but that may be because his brother speaks loud enough for the two of them. He currently sleeps with his sibling in an Xpen and has not been introduced to kennel training yet. Brin plays well with his sibling and wants the old resident dog to like him, but he respects her warnings and runs off to play. Brin will need a loving and patient family while he learns all there is to know about being a super puppy and living in a house. (Mom is reported to be a Pekingese/Boston Terrier mix and dad an Aussie/Heeler mix.) Approximate Birthdate:   2/16/2025 Adoption Fee: $250 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.     For more information please fill out an application.     CONTACT INFO The Animal Rescue Alliance (TARA) Web site: tarasdream.org Adoption Information & Applications: https://tarasdream.org/adopt Upcoming Adoption Events: https://tarasdream.org/events Email: [email protected]
