Meet Bodi
Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process. Bodi is a sweet, funny, confident and bold boy with a perfect amount of caution for new experiences until he has conquered them, like stairs and knowing the dog next door has a big bark, but he is safe. He is a little too food motivated for puppy training now but seems to get the concept of sitting for short periods of time while waiting for the slow human to fill his bowl. Bodi is a fluff ball of energy and loves to be held, receive belly rubs, toys, and play time when the human can find time to sit on the floor. Bodi would love nothing more than to be with the human 24/7. He can be a bit of a vocalist during bedtime, but he settles quickly with verbal reassurance and some music. He currently sleeps with his sibling in an Xpen and has not been introduced to kennel training yet. Bodi plays well with his smaller sibling Brin and wants the old resident dog to like him, but she’s not interested in the bouncing fur ball. He’s had his feelings hurt learning the hard lesson that when she says no, it means no. Bodi will need a loving and patient family while he learns all there is to know about being a super puppy and living in a house. (Mom is reported to be a Pekingese/Boston Terrier mix and dad an Aussie/Heeler mix.) Approximate Birthdate: 2/16/2025 Adoption Fee: $250 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds. For more information please fill out an application.
