Meet HALO

Meet Halo 2-Year-Old Anatolian Shepherd MixIn shelter care since 9/3/24 for her safety and wellbeingHalo is a gentle, loyal girl who’s been through a lot. She came into our care along with her two housemates, Shadow and Angel, after their previous home became unsafe. Since then, Halo has quietly waited for someone to see the sweet soul she truly is.Halo is mild-mannered, affectionate, and prefers to stay close to her person. She gives soft “hugs,” enjoys sniffy walks, and knows her basic commands like “sit,” “down,” and “place.” She walks well on leash, is potty trained, and takes treats gently. She’s been non-reactive around dogs in our care and has shown polite interest in cats—though she’s much more interested in their food, so we’d recommend supervision in a home with feline friends.Halo is looking for:A calm, loving homeA person who values connection over chaosA patient adopter willing to give her time to decompressHalo may not stand out in the kennel, but outside she shines. She’s calm, loving, and just waiting for her second chance. Could it be with you?
