Meet Nikita

Meet Nikita, a young, sweet, and cuddly canine companion. She's bursting with energy and is always ready to play. Her loyalty knows no bounds and she's incredibly smart, too. Nikita loves to learn new tricks and commands. She's also incredibly friendly and gets along with everyone she meets. She does like to follow people around but unless children initiate play, she lays down and just watches them play. Nikita's intelligent, friendly nature and undying loyalty make her the perfect addition to any family. She's waiting for a home where she'll be loved and cherished. Her foster parents are working with her on handling staying by herself in a room for a period of time and she's improving greatly. She doesn't chew up shoes or kids' toys, and they sometimes leave her outside in the fenced yard while they visit neighbors and she does fine, not even barking at the mailman. She's perfect on the leash, heeling the whole time and not pulling the 7-year old at all, even when she sees a bunny. She kennels at night fine as long as she's in the room with her foster parents.
