Meet Nova

This beautiful girl is Nova. Nova is 100% deaf, but she doesn’t let that stop her from enjoying all of her surroundings and making friends! Nova is a Native American name that means “Chasing Butterflies”? Which is exactly what this girl would love to do! (For now, she’s chasing the leaves until butterflies come out lol). Nova is working with a foster who is teaching her hand signals for commands. She is doing well as she is very treat motivated, so far she has mastered sit and is working on learning other important commands. Nova is very dog friendly, loves to play but also knows how to respect other dogs space. She's cat friendly as well. She loves stuffed toys but will shred them, so she does best with heavy duty nylon toys for long term. She likes kongs, peanut butter, and anything chicken / liver flavored. She loves to run. She’d make a great running companion for someone who is active. She also loves to just sit outside and sun bathe when the weather is nice. She is house broken, and working on kennel training. She likes brain games (snuffle mats, puzzle solving toys, etc!). Apply to adopt here! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAE/Dog
