Meet Cocoa Bean

DOB:  10/24/23                      Current Weight(as of  4/4/24): 4.74 Lbs Adoption Fee: $275 includes 1 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. Cocoa Bean was released to us by a breeder because she had a deformed front leg.  Our veterinarian said it was most likely broken when she was born. She received no medical care for it so it never healed and looked like a little chicken wing.  We had it removed at the same time she was spay. She is a very active tripod and doesn't even realize she is missing a led as she never had use of it. In her foster home she is active and playful.  Her foster Mom says that she has no fear and even tries to boss around the big dogs!  She also is very sweet and loves to snuggle up with her foster Mom. She is still working on her housebreaking skills. Due to her small size we would recommend children over 10. Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption. All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting one of them just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
