Stover Animal Rescue, Inc.

We are an all volunteer nonprofit (501(c)3) dog and cat rescue organization funded completely by donations. We do this work because we love animals and believe volunteers benefit as much as the animals do from their work together. We hope to make a difference in our community by saving and improving the lives of animals, and promoting kindness and volunteerism for all.

Meet Hip

Hip is the sweetest boy, although life has thrown him a rough patch, he’s safe now and enjoying a warm, soft bed, plenty of food and drink. Most of all, watching him start to feel playful again is the best! He’s always happy to see the volunteers come in, very good about going out to take care of business and then ready to come inside. With the Missouri weather this winter, who can blame him! It’s a joy watching him improve and gain strength every day. Hip will be an amazing companion.

Adoption Process
Fees are $105 for dogs/puppies; $45 for cats/kittens with spay/neuter, microchip, and immunizations appropriate for age. We personally interview and require completed applications (and a home visit may be needed) before having an adoption contract signed.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
