Ozark Homeward Bound

Ozark Homeward Bound is a non-profit organization created in June 2010 to address the abandoned and neglected dogs and cats in north central Arkansas. We do not have a shelter, but depend on foster volunteers to care for our dogs and cats while they await adoption. OHB will spay/neuter each cat or dog, give them all age-appropriate vaccinations and treat them for parasites before they leave for their fur-ever homes.We do require an adoption application with references to insure the best homes for our fur kids. Close attention is given to matching the needs of a pet to the adoptive family. Not all who apply are approved.Donations are always needed, and always appreciated. We also accept Honorarium and Memorial contributions.

Meet Asher

The rescue is working on a new website and portal emails are getting lost at the moment. Please email me directly at [email protected].   Asher was born on February 25 of 2025. He is very sweet and very calm. He seems like an old soul. Today May 30 of 2025 he weighs 4.86 pounds. He is expected to get up to about 7-9 pounds full-grown. He’s doing Great using puppy pads.  He is currently in Harrison Arkansas that could be transported to your location via the rescue network transport. Please do not inquire through Facebook.
