Ozark Homeward Bound

Ozark Homeward Bound is a non-profit organization created in June 2010 to address the abandoned and neglected dogs and cats in north central Arkansas. We do not have a shelter, but depend on foster volunteers to care for our dogs and cats while they await adoption. OHB will spay/neuter each cat or dog, give them all age-appropriate vaccinations and treat them for parasites before they leave for their fur-ever homes.We do require an adoption application with references to insure the best homes for our fur kids. Close attention is given to matching the needs of a pet to the adoptive family. Not all who apply are approved.Donations are always needed, and always appreciated. We also accept Honorarium and Memorial contributions.

Meet Anova

Anova is 3/4 Australian Shepherd and 1/4 Australian cattle dog – blue healer. She is extremely intelligent and mature for such a young puppy. She is calm and not rambunctious. She is extremely attentive to humans. She’s great on car rides, with children, with cats and with dogs. She will come spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She receives next guard plus for heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We are on a farm so she gets weekly deworming. She is currently located in Harrison, Arkansas, but would be transported to a location near you via the rescue network transport. We do not make applications available until we conduct phone interviews so please leave your telephone number and we will return your inquiry as soon as possible.
