Stover Animal Rescue, Inc.

We are an all volunteer nonprofit (501(c)3) dog and cat rescue organization funded completely by donations. We do this work because we love animals and believe volunteers benefit as much as the animals do from their work together. We hope to make a difference in our community by saving and improving the lives of animals, and promoting kindness and volunteerism for all.

Meet Comet

Comet is a beautiful boy who came on some hard times for a young dog. He’d been in survival mode for awhile. He’s learned he’s safe and now loves his quiet time. He can be so calm and gentle for a big boy. Loves giant soft blankets, with lots of chest, head and belly rubs. He's also full of kisses for his people! Comet’s heartworm test was positive so he’s starting his treatment regimen on Feb 1, 2024. We are currently offering foster opportunities for Comet so he can receive the individual care he needs during this treatment phase. He’ll need a quiet environment and probably no cats. We cover the cost of treatment and all supplies for him during his foster phase.

Adoption Process
Fees are $105 for dogs/puppies; $45 for cats/kittens with spay/neuter, microchip, and immunizations appropriate for age. We personally interview and require completed applications (and a home visit may be needed) before having an adoption contract signed.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
