Meet Honeybee (three legged)
Honeybee is a 2 year old 18 pound Boston terrier mix. Honey was found on a rural road where she had a severely injured leg. After a visit to the vet it was determined she had been shot and her back leg was shattered and infected. Her leg had to be amputated and since then she has never missed it! Honey loves to run and play and can jump like any other dog. She is housetrained and crate trained and gets along great with everyone. Honeybee is very loving and would make a perfect first dog for any family. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home.
