Meet Rosa

  Rosa is a 17 pound 2 year old terrier mix. Rosa was found in a small town living behind a Mexican restaurant. Many of the patrons fed and loved Rosa but town officials captured her. Rosa is calm and quiet and loves to be with people. She is very gentle and sweet. She gets along with dogs and tolerates cats. She is working on house training but does love car rides. Rosa did test positive for heartworms and her treatment will be sponsored by the rescue. She will make a wonderful pet for anyone who wants a sweet loving baby.       Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
