Meet Daisy
Age 10 years Weight 15 lbs Adoption donation $599 Daisy arrived just a few weeks ago at the rescue and instantly captured her foster mom’s heart, out of the 150+ dogs at the rescue the Wags director calls Daisy her current favorite! Daisy is sweet and gentle and loving, you’d never know she was a senior, she loves to romp and play with the other dogs. Daisy has a rather interesting background, she was owned by a female truck driver in Mississippi who took Daisy with her on trips all over the country. But sadly, the woman fell on hard times and gave up Dasy and several other dogs. But Daisy hit the jackpot coming to Wags, she was vetted and giving her vaccinations and spayed, and has settled in quickly, following her foster mom around the rescue, stopping to play with the other dogs. Her best buddy is in that beautiful black lab named Blue who is also for adoption (We would love for them to go together! Not necessary, but if you were open to a second dog, check out Blue!) Daisy really is the quintessential family dog, she doesn’t have a drop of aggression. She would be ideal for someone who’s retired who wants a lap dog. But she would be fine in an active family as well, she really fits in anywhere. Sweet Daisy will make a wonderful addition to the lucky family who adopts her. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 200 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! For more information on adopting any of our Wags dogs please email [email protected]
Adoption Process
we have an adoption application and require a deposit while we check references, we do home visits or ask for videos, and FaceTime if weâre not able to get to the home.
