Meet Elvira

From Melissa Gibson: I have a small emergency. Evie who was adopted a good while back from Ville Platte Pound is in danger of being put back in there after living for months inside. The owner had to move in with her mom and will get evicted today bc of no pets rule. This is what she said about Evie.. She is already spayed and treated for hws. She weighs 47 lbs and I believe 2 years old. I don’t have her records but I will get them. She was in the pound for quite awhile before getting adopted. Then the adopters split up and the girl moved into her mom’s house and no pets allowed. I refuse to put her back into the pound after she has been in a home. She is spayed also

Adoption Process
Adoption process consists of adoption application, home check, vet check, trial visit, fee and contract to complete.
