Meet Norbie (Benefactor Puppy)

From Shauna: I have an SOS, but I think this little guy will be easy to place. My Aunt (mid 70’s)was on a country road and  picked up this baby. He’s safe, but it’s not easy for her to care for what seems to be a 3-4 month old puppy. He was covered in fleas. She was a volunteer with 2 Baton Rouge rescues, so it’s not that they mind taking care of him for a short time. Rather, it’s because he presents a fall risk for my Aunt & her partner, who’s 78.  Since they’re in BR, they asked Friends of the Animals, but they’re full. He’s a sweetie. Very socialized & affectionate. Their home backs up to a lake & they’re  fenced, but they’re watching him very closely since there’s spacing in the fence. They’re feeding him frequent small meals of puppy food.  They picked him up in Cottonport and while he had on a collar, they said he was out on a country road with no house seen for miles. Plus covered in fleas. They gave him a bath.

Adoption Process
Adoption process consists of adoption application, home check, vet check, trial visit, fee and contract to complete.
