Dogs 2nd Chance

We are a group of VOLUNTEER fosters that saw the need for helping larger, mixed breed dogs. We try to keep dogs from entering shelters . When possible we also save dogs from the urgent lists of "kill" shelters in the Mid South. We are a VERY SMALL group trying to save one dog at a time.

Meet Stella

Stella, a spayed brindle colored female dog, is eagerly awaiting her forever home. This small, short-haired adult canine is a model companion—housebroken, crate trained, and adept on a leash. Her obedience shines through as she navigates her interactions with cats, other dogs, and children, earning her reputation as a well-mannered and gentle companion for all ages. Stella's initial shyness dissipates as she warms up to new faces, revealing a playful spirit that truly comes alive when engaging with her cherished toys. With a heart full of love and a versatile temperament, Stella is the perfect addition to a loving family seeking a loyal and affectionate canine companion. Adopting this sweet dog promises not only a delightful addition to the family but also the joy of witnessing her flourish in a caring and nurturing environment.
