Meet Jenny Claire! This 1-year-old cutie may have had a rough start—found tied to a mailbox pole in the Mississippi heat—but she’s left all that behind and is ready for her happily ever after! Jenny Claire is a friendly, smart, 18-pound mixed breed who loves everyone she meets. She’s housebroken (major bonus!) and has mastered the art of being adorable 24/7—just look at those ears! But beware: she’s a bit of a shoe connoisseur—your favorite pair might look like a tasty treat if you leave them out! Now a couple of days post-spay, Jenny Claire is doing great and showing her vibrant, playful side more than ever. She’s so much fun and a quick learner! She absolutely loves racing around and playing tug-of-war with her foster siblings. She recently met a foster cat and, aside from being very interested in the cat’s food, she mostly ignored it—so she may do just fine in a home with cats. Because she’s still very much a puppy, Jenny would do best in a home where she won’t be left alone for long periods. She’s still growing, learning, and thriving, and she’d love someone who can guide her through it all.
