Meet Hannah-Havanese

Hello, I'm Hanna! I'm a petite four-year-old Havanese, weighing in at just eight pounds, with a lovely white coat. I'm heartworm negative, spayed, and fully vaccinated.When it comes to new people, I can be a bit shy and need a fenced yard for my comfort. I might take a little while to warm up to you and my new family, so if you're seeking immediate cuddles and kisses, I might not be the best match. But with some space, time, and kindness, I'll definitely come around to being your friend!My foster mom has been wonderful, allowing me to adjust at my own pace. Now, I love following her everywhere and even enjoy standing guard while she showers. When she sits down, I feel most at ease and happily accept pets and lap cuddles.I've made huge progress since arriving with my foster mom. Initially, I was quite wary of humans, but now I'm starting to see the good in them and crave my own human companion.At night, I sleep peacefully in a crate with a cover, feeling safe and secure. Though I wouldn't mind snuggling up with my human eventually!I'm still working on my house training, but I'm pee pad trained. I adore dogs my size and might benefit from having a dog buddy to help me settle in faster. While I haven't been tested with cats, it can be arranged before adoption. However, I prefer a home without small children, as they tend to scare me.I'm a non-shedding breed, which is a bonus, but I'll need regular grooming to keep my coat looking fabulous. Ideally, I'd love an owner who's comfortable grooming me themselves.I'm longing for love and hoping to find someone who has the time and patience to show me what forever love feels like.
