Hunter

Friends of the Delta Dawg

Our organizations is primarily focused on spaying and neutering homeless and "in need animals" in our community. However, our city government shut down all parts of Animal Control in January 2024 and we assumed the responsibility of multiple dogs still in their care. All animals are currently in foster homes and we are working diligently to find forever homes for them.

Meet Hunter

Hunter is fully vaccinated and heart worm negative and neutered. He is on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. He is currently in a foster home and doing great! He is house trained and dog friendly. Cat indifferent. Hunter was found out in the cold and wet after being hit by a car with leg fracture by our former AC officer. His leg is completely healed without complications. He is approximately 45 pounds. Hunter would need to be around older kids due to happy jumping and the possibility he would knock over smaller children.

Adoption Process
Completion of adoptions application and contract. $200 adoption fee for approved adopters and vet reference check. Required spay/neuter of all animals.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
