Happy Dog Rescue

We partner with rescue groups and shelters across the South to rehome southern dogs with loving families. Loyal and loving dogs turn up every day in Southern shelters, as owners turn them in or they’re found roaming the streets after being dumped. To the best of our abilities, we evaluate all our goldens’ temperaments and suitability for living with other dogs, cats, and children. Their health is checked, and we make sure they are up-to-date on all shots and spayed or neutered. Then we place them in loving foster homes until they find their very own family. Our goal is to meet the needs of each dog as an individual and to assure proper placement in a loving forever home.

Meet Rosie

To adopt please fill out an adoption Application  This is a nice little dog, she loves EVERYBODY! Be sure to watch her video.  Rosie is a 1yo female terrier/bulldog mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis.  Our vet believes she might be a “pocket bully” due to her short legs and compact, muscular body. Rosie is happy, friendly, well-socialized!  Great with other dogs, fine with cats, gentle with children. Playful with high activity level outside and settles down quickly in the house. Rosie is very active and still has a lot of puppy left in her. Good house manners. Housebroken and crate trained. Obeys basic commands.  Loves to be with her people.  Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 45 pounds.  AWESOME young terrier mix will make a great companion (and jogging partner) for an active family who loves the breed.To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Contact us at [email protected]  visit us at http://www.happydogrescue.org

The process to adopt a dog includes: completion of an application phone interview with your dog’s adoption coordinator phone interview with your dog’s foster mom veterinary reference & personal references home visit adoption contract adoption fee* *adoption fees vary from puppies to adults to seniors and can be found on each dog's adoption application at the end of their profile.
