If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org.Minnie is a sweet brindle pup who's playful, curious, and learning fast! At just 4 months old, she’s already kennel trained and doing great with potty training—thanks to a consistent schedule. She loves toys and is pretty respectful about what’s okay to chew. That said, leave a slipper out and she might proudly show it off—don’t worry, she’ll happily trade it for a treat!Minnie adores her foster brother (also a brindle—brother from another mother!) and is working on her manners, like sitting nicely and not jumping when excited. She’s the kind of dog who will melt your heart and grow up to be your most loyal companion. Minnie is looking for a forever home where she can keep blossoming into the amazing pup she’s meant to be. While she hasn't had much exposure to feline companions or kiddos, we believe with proper introductions, she would do great around both!If you're looking for a smart, social, and loving pup who's eager to please, Minnie might just be your perfect match!Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
Adoption Process
Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
