Meet Dublin

Dublin is an approximately 6 month old shepherd mix who was found roaming in a rural area. No one claimed him so this wonderful boy is now looking for a permanent home. He's a sensitive soul who loves people. He has been fully vaccinated, chipped, neutered, and his fee is $150. Dublin is a pretty well mannered young dog who does well with other dogs and all people. He would love a home in which he's not left alone for long hours. We do think he could be trained to interact well with cats. He's bright and very eager to please. He's at a great age for training classes, too. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Please keep an eye on your emails after you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
